Introduction

In the first Power Meter Plus (PBP) portable edition that I have released, I aimed to include the most common configuration of devices.
This time I have created my own GUI, but still I’ve made the application as basic as possible, leaving it open for extensions. And since it is in the self-extracting zip archive, it means that there is no installation required at all, and that is how the product should be considered in this case.
However, there is no such product as a standalone Power Meter Plus product. It is built right into the image. The portable version is there to show you that it can be made for any hardware type.
The next time I’ll do something similar will be when I will create my own application with a proper GUI.

Compatibility

This utility is designed to work on all platforms which support the 16-bit model of Windows.
Like many other XDA tools, it supports long filenames and wildcards in the command line and file selection (read more here).

Installation

First, unzip the downloaded archive to a suitable folder, make sure that the autoexecute option of the archive is set to the on or off button. Then use the extractsor of your choice to extract the files to the extracted folder, then launch the self-extracting archiver.
When you come to the first window, choose the make and run option to extract the files, and the portable edition of Power Meter Plus will start.

Application features

When the tool is first launched, its icon will appear in the system tray area. The battery level is displayed on the screen.

I’m having another of those “You know when you know?” moments again. I turned on the radio and there, on the news, was the story of a couple going to court over whether it’s a crime for a woman to have sexual relations with a man if her husband is actively having relations with another woman.

There seems to be very little trust left in such relationships, and it seems the law is confused by what to do with the situation. So far, we’re told it is legal.
