Description Annamalai Swami’s biography Living by the Words of Bhagavan is an opportunity to meet and walk alongside the great sage, Sri Ramana Maharshi.  Swami lived in Ramana Ashram from 1928-1938, during which time he supervised the building construction under Ramana’s direct guidance. The rare accounts shared here provide a window into the ashram’s daily life during this time and reveal how Ramana’s grace touched everything; from the daily preparation of food, the care of the animals and land to his attendance to the trials and tribulations of earnest seekers and his constant patience in ever directing their attention to the Self within. Ramana’s spontaneity, humour, care and compassion for all shine throughout Swami’s stories, touching on the everyday miracles that sprung from Ramana’s presence.  The latter part of the book shares Swami’s diary extracts of precious dialogues between Ramana and the visitors who came to meet him seeking self-realisation. These are followed by Swami’s own conversations with seekers in the late 1980’s be who were drawn to Swami’s presence and sought to know more about Bhagavan and his teachings.
