Like most succulents, they store water in their leaves so it is best to wait for the soil to totally dry out between waterings. Due to its low-maintenance and air-purifying nature, the African Spear Plant is also a suitable plant to keep in the office. Slow-growing and tolerant of neglect,it can last for many years indoors.
