This Ketrix 12V Electric Door Lock for Cabinet Locker Safe is commonly used for access control of cabinets, drawers, lockers, and safes. This is a very simple door lock that runs on 12VDC. It includes a lock, hook, and mounting accessories. When pressed, the hook locks into the lock, and when powered by 3V, it releases, allowing users to open the door. The lock also includes a feedback signal, which is normally open. When the door is closed, the feedback signal closes, informing programmers that the lock is engaged. This feedback signal can also be used to turn off the lock when the hook is disengaged. This lock can be connected directly to your Access Control System Controller. If you’re building your own controller with a custom PLC, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or other microcontroller, you can use one of our compatible relays or MOSFET Modules to control the electromagnet. The lock uses a latch which is released by a special alloy wire. The wire contracts when powered and releases the latch to unlock the door!
