GY-31 TCS3200 Color Sensor Module is a complete color detector, including a TCS3200 RGB sensor chip and 4 white LEDs. The TCS3200 can detect nearly limitless range of visible colors. Applications include test strip reading, sorting by color, ambient light sensing and calibration, and color matching, to name just a few. GY-31 Color Sensor Module is made using IC TCS3200, a programmable color light to frequency converter. It has configurable silicon photodiodes and a current to frequency converter in a single monolithic CMOS Integrated Circuit. Its output is square wave having 50% duty cycle with frequency directly proportional to irradiance (light intensity).
